Legal
Privacy policy
This policy explains how Nocturnal Media (“we”, “us”) uses personal information collected through www.nocturnalmedia.co.uk.
Who we are
Nocturnal Media provides website design, hosting, domain names, email, apps, social media and AI services. For any privacy question, email Chris@NocturnalMedia.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, the services you tick and your message. When you email us we receive your email address and whatever you include. Like all websites, our server keeps short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, provide a quote and, if you become a customer, deliver our services. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Customer records are kept for as long as we provide services to you and afterwards for as long as the law requires (for example, for tax records).
Who we share it with
Only with the providers that run our website and email (our hosting and email services), who process it on our behalf. We do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Essential cookies may be used if you log in to a website we host for you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
